Personal Profile:  Jon Rosies

Jon is a professional event production manager and consultant who specialises in organising and managing business conferences and roadshows. Married with two children, he lives in Hildenborough, Kent.

Having studied communications/AV in Chicago, USA, Jon worked locally with a couple of large AV companies in technical staging and subsequently AV production support.

Upon returning to Europe he took on the role of major events coordinator for a charity in Belgium before settling in Kent. In the UK, Jon worked with a major American bank for two years before returning to the events industry as a programme producer for a dominant commercial conference company in London.

This role later developed to include the marketing and management of industry conferences and executive training. After five years within the commercial conference industry, Jon gained further events experience in a corporate setting, producing and managing events for the international financial publishing company, Dow Jones.

Jon started Impel Communications in 1998 and has since project managed seminars, conferences and roadshows for a number of large organisations. 

Jon has personally worked with government ministers, heads of central banks, some of the world's best known business personalities and leading executives of multinational corporations at high profile national and international business conferences.

Jon holds a Masters degree in Marketing Communications, and a Bachelor's degree in Audio Visual Communications. He applies this knowledge to help clients gain full benefit from the marketing and communications opportunities provided by conferences and live events.

He also provides first-hand international experience in AV, event production, marketing and management for high profile business and corporate marketing events.

Born and raised in Belgium, Jon also speaks Dutch, French and German, with English as his first language.
